About Marine Operations for Environmental Services (SAIL)

Protecting Our Marine Environment

Marine Operations for Environmental Services (SAIL) was established by royal decree as a subsidiary of the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), which is wholly owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Launched in 2022, SAIL is dedicated to monitoring and responding to oil and hazardous spills in the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf, with the aim of protecting and maintaining both commercial and ecological infrastructure.
